Old Florida Trip Planner
Welcome to Old Florida!
Old Florida is an important part of history in United States as it was along the coastal region of St. Augustine that the Spanish first set foot onto this country back in 1513. Various historical sites capture the attention of visitors, including the Colonial Spanish Quarter and the Fort Matanzas National Monument. Plenty of parks such as Anastasia State Recreation Area and Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area provide the stage for activities like camping, surfing, swimming, hiking and fishing. The Marineland of Florida features an opportunity for visitors to interact with different types of marine life including dolphins, sea turtles and stingrays. Visitors can also unwind on the sandy St. Augustine Beach and Vilano Beach. The Family Fun Factory in St. Augustine features a variety of family amusements, including go-karts, mini-golf and more. For a more mature attraction, the San Sebastian Winery offers tours of the vineyard and tastingsof the wine produced there.
